Frost Society

When a young Gleason Archer tried to repay a loan for college tuition to his benefactor—a local businessman and philanthropist named George Frost—he was rebuffed. Frost refused to take the money, saying, “If you ever have a chance to pass this favor along to others, do it for me.”

The Frost Society honors and thanks those who reach beyond their own lives to ensure the gift of educational opportunity to future generations of Suffolk students. Alumni and friends qualify for membership when they honor Suffolk University in their wills and trusts, make life-income agreements, or name Suffolk as an irrevocable beneficiary of life insurance policies or retirement-plan assets.
